Y2K Chat

Chat like it's 2001, with your real friends.

Y2K Chat is a private messenger with the feel of 2000s instant messaging: a buddy list, nudges, away messages, an answering machine for voice messages, small group chats and original emoticons. You only talk to friends you add with a friend code, and messages disappear after 30 days. No AI, no ads, no strangers, no feeds.

Available on Android and, without the App Store, on iPhone (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen). For adults 18+.
